I think I said a decade and a half...JoAl substituted for my GenPsych prof who for some reason had to take a leave (for the life of me, I can't remember why) JoAl was in training of some sort. I'm ID'89. Thought I'd make it sound nicer by saying "about a decade and a half" hee hee hee. I'm from CBE, but did my masters in Psych, which of course I didn't finish at thesis point...got whisked away by love.

MY GRADUATION DATE: JUNE 20, 2008

  • I'm Thinking:
    i knew the title of my blog's appropriate for my posts... at least it's no longer that controversial like my RUMORSDOTCOM friendster blog! haha...

    social cognitive theory states that the environment influences our beliefs and behavior and actions.

    well then, probably the reason why i moved out from friendsterblog to bravenet.
i didn't want to touch the layout and design of my blog since I last abandoned it. That's why the sign up there still says "4 TERMS TILL GRADUATION". But really now, I only have barely three months =) **yippee* time flies so fast doesn't it?

funny, "consider me an honor student" was just sort of a tagline to boost up my self-esteem & pride ever since i got first honor dean's list. I never really was an honor student.. but now, I really am ... "i will be an honor student someday" - a long long longed feeling back then.

But actually I shouldn't be excited to graduate right? All those downsides missing friends, school life, ALLOWANCES. .. But that's life... we can't stop the hour or day or even make it longer . (of course there's leap year, and the daylight savings time which does not apply here where i live )

Anyway... life goes on and we undergo to different stages from pre-school, ^_^
then grade school longing to be in high school,
but the moment one reaches high school they long to be in college,
and then the longing to be so called "free".


But for me? It's not that I want to be "FREE".
My excitement for graduation is just a way for me to look at the   bright side   rather than agonizing myself with nostalgia and emotional separation anxiety with school life.


So yiipee...



The date I placed here is my tentative date for graduation... (no, my graduation is not the tentative one)
the date's tentative because there's no announcements yet .
but my graduation SURE na. - well it should be! haha.

Well, I will just wait... but until then. this entry keep's posted

First of all, congratulations on your graduation, Toni. You've worked very hard for this time in your life, and you deserve to celebrate it and be recognized for all your achievements.

Secondly, you may find that you do become more introspective as you look back on this time in your life and consider where you want to go from here. It's a wonderful and exciting time, my friend; a brand new chapter in your life book is about to start, and it's normal to look back at what you've already written.

Enjoy your weekend, Toni, and do give yourself time to reflect on these past months and years. You've worked for it and you deserve it.

But, it's strange for me too, most past quotes seemed to be reflecting what I had faced in my life experience.
